Problem: Windows 7 and x1400 does not work on external TFT 22" aero/Resolution

Hi There,
i tried to solve my Problem now for 4 days, endles driver installations and endless houres

I hope somebody can help me here and sorry for my bad english

I have an Alienware Laptop m5500i with an Ati x1400 and an Externmal 22" TFT
I installed Windows 7 Home Premium 32Bit because my Vista Ultimate 32Bit crashed. Everything worked fine on Vista.

Here is my problem:
The original driver from windows works fine on my laptop with Aero.
The problem is a 22" monitor conectet with DVI with a 1680x1050 Resolution.

with the original windows 7 driver the 22" only has 1280x800 (same as Notebook, and is only Clone mode) resolution and i can't change it to 1680x1050. But i have Aero
i tried a lot of ATI Catalyst installations from Diversheaven with and without Mobility Modder but the resolution of the 22" stays 1280x800 (same as Notebook, and is only Clone mode). But i have Aero
with a Omega or Extreme.G modded driver the 22" works perfect in 1680x1050 with. But there is NO Aero Glas.

I have tried following beside endles drivers testing: removed quicktime, Color is set to 32Bit, changed from Aero to Basic Designs and Back
The settings shows "Aero-Designs" but it is no Aero as you can see in the taskbar.

When i try the "Aero check" it says i need a Driver which is WDDM compatible. But where can i get one for my Setup?

Perhaps i did not use the right version of ATI Catalyst (http://www.driverheavendownloads.net/ati.htm)? I testet a few new and a frew older ones but none of them worked.

Could somebody PLEEEEEEEEASE help me?

Problem solved: i installed a Driver for my Samsung 226BW and it worked:-)
