Starting apps on 2nd display in extended mode
I apologize if this seems to be a stupid question, but when I'm starting a game how do I have it go over to my 2nd display so i can keep my desktop at the same time on the primary display?

The only other way I can think of...off the top of my head...is to run the game in Windowed Mode and move the game window over to the second display. But, that doesn't appeal to me, personally. |

Re: Starting apps on 2nd display in extended mode
If the game supports it (some older games still LOCK to the primary display) but under windows vista and 7 if you do the following your good to go
if it's full screen, ALT+ENTER will window it, at which point drag it over to the other monitor and hit ALT+ENTER again to full screen.. IF it goes back to the primary screen when you do that, your best bet is to leave it windowed on the other screen.

Thanks Judas, I'll try that. I like keeping my desktop on the smaller monitor, which is why I keep it as primary. So far I have been switching primary around. I was just looking for an easier way to have some apps(games mainly) start on the extended display, and windowed games don't appeal to me either.
