How to enable resizing the LCD panel?

my display is 16:10, and most games I played is in the ratio of 16:9. I want to keep that ratio, but I found everything is not the same when I use win 7.
In basic view of CCC I can see the notebook panel properties, but when i was about to change, it said:"please use advanced settings to enable resizing of your LCD panel.
But In advanced view, I can't see notebook panel properties at all!
anyone can help? thank you!

Notebook panel properties is disappeared in the advanced view,,,,

In basic view "GO" IS GREY OUT...

Try changing your Desktop resolution to something other than the Recommended resolution and see if the options become active.
