ATI Catalyst OpenGL 4.0 preview driver
Anyone try them out yet ?

Yup there ok and nothing has blown and no wisp of smoke
B4 i tried em did a search on google and nothing but praise 4 em how its speeds everything up on the bench marking programs. Win7 index experience is up i point on both graphics and gaming graphics But hey you be the judge |

Just installed and tested a bit.
Only got one game that uses OpenGL and it's the most demanding one I know of as well, Battleground Europe (wwiionline), and I can see small improvements on all accounts with this driver. This tested with the newest beta version of the game. |

![]() I tried out the linux version to test Unigine Heaven 2.0 and found those to offer a decent improvement over the standard fgrlx drivers, even on my old agp system. I've since rebuilt my comp on a shoestring budget and wasn't sure how they were on win 7 64bit so I stuck with the official 10.3 for now ..may have to give them a shot.

Tried Lightmark with these. Card was @ 960|1265.
![]() Overclocked GTX 480 I saw elsewhere was doing around 844 @ the same res. Tried the OGL car test in Cinebench R11.5 too and it was 77.74FPS.
