Dyre Straits

I just installed the latest beta drivers and they are full of new stuff. The package includes EVERYTHING for every Windows version. It also includes a new Video Converter option in the list of selections in the Advanced view of CCC.

BUT....before you start the installation be absolutely sure to UNINSTALL any existing drivers in order to assure you get the new content and the latest files.

There is also a newly-added option in the All Programs list called, "Switchable Graphics". I have to assume this is a default profile for switching between previously selected graphics options. I haven't tested it yet.

Nice! ATI has really showed some great improvements with it's driver update this year, lets hope they got a trick or two more ready, until the 6x series are ready.

i just hope they are getting the fuctions restored that were present in the older CCC..... cause i REALLY dislike the way they went with this new one, it's counter intuetive and clumsy, they could have expanded on the design they had, the only reason i see them moving to this new one is for the newer display manager, which could have been implemented in the previous CCC.

I agree Judas, It does seem counter-intuitive. But I am liking the performance improvements as of late.
