Your questions for AMD's driver team

Hi all, we will shortly be putting up an interview with one of AMDs Catalyst Driver team. If you have any questions you want to put to them please post in here before 10pm GMT (ish) and the best will be selected and passed over.

Re: Your questions for AMD's driver team

How involved is the AMD Driver Team with game developers, as games are being developed, to assure that AMD products work as well as possible upon release of the game?

Re: Your questions for AMD's driver team

When will we have total control over the methods used to draw or split the graphics load over 2 or more Video cards (crossfire), be it scissor, tile, split screen (vert/horizontal) or other alternatives such as triangular/pyramidal. This is a feature talked about several years ago, but thus far hasn't appeared at all side from the suggestion of cranking catalyst AI to maximum (which isn't ideal).

Re: Your questions for AMD's driver team

Maybe my question is not related so much with CCC, but I would like to ask is there any chance to develop AMD fusion media explorer for AMD GPU users regardless which CPU you have, Intel or AMD

And suggestion for AVIVO video codec is additional field where you can set custom resolution(and aspect ratio) of video which you previously selected for converting.

Regards

Re: Your questions for AMD's driver team

How is AMD hoping to close the gap in stereoscopic 3D capabilities between their solutions and nVidia's?

Re: Your questions for AMD's driver team

Is the monthly release cycle still worth it, when there's often a hotfix update which offers more than the WHQL - actually, is WHQL worth it, when it means the release is outdated by the time we see it?

Re: Your questions for AMD's driver team

Will the drivers ever support Multiple "surroundview" capabilities using multiple video cards to drive multiple displays..

Example being 3 videos cards driving one display each using surround view to more efficiently or better able to customize the way it handles it.

Currently if 2 or more cards are used and are not setup in Crossfire... attempting to stretch or go full screen using a 3d application will cause the same symptoms experience with previous versions of windows in which drops the framerates down to complete single frame per second performance.

Will there be a solution for this perhaps in the near future?

Re: Your questions for AMD's driver team

This may be more hardware side of things..

but can any comments be made on the developement on dual core gpu driver situations, how your tackling this issue i guess on the software side, or perspectives/solutions for making this work in hopefully the near future. (will it work like crossfire, or will it work more along the same lines as how dual core or multi core cpus work today to generalize)
