AMD's Battlefield 3 Driver (11.10 Preview) Now Available
AMD Catalyst 11.10 Preview driver:
  • Improves performance in Battlefield 3 Open Beta release for both non-Anti-Aliasing, and application enabled Anti-Aliasing cases on the AMD Radeon™ HD 6000 and AMD Radeon™ HD 5000 Series for single GPU configurations
    • Improves performance in Battlefield 3 Open Beta release for both non-Anti-Aliasing, and application enabled Anti-Aliasing cases on CrossFire configurations using the AMD Radeon™ HD 6000 and AMD Radeon™ HD 5000 Series
    • Enables support for Eyefinity 5x1 display (portrait and landscape) configurations using the AMD Radeon™ HD 6000 and AMD Radeon™ HD 5000 Series
  • Vision Engine Control Center: User Interface enhancements have been implemented for the CrossfireX, GPU Overdrive, and Information Center pages.

Sorry about that, guys, I saw it on AMD's FB page as I was heading to bed, now I see that there are similar comments there and that the package is only 20 something MB big, a dead giveaway that something is missing. Hopefully AMD will fix it any time now.

BTW, thanks to the mod who changed the title, I believe I initially wrote 10.10.

Drivers might but I doubt the Punkbuster service will so anyone trying the Windows 8 preview will likely not be able to play BF3.

I'm gonna be doing some tests at the weekend.

These are pretty crappy drivers for BF3, I had horrible flickering with 11.8 and 11.10 on one of the maps with all sorts of slowdowns which made even navigating the menus impossible; the slowdowns weren't affected by adjusting the graphics quality. When it did run I had it on Ultra 1920x1200 at a constant 60 fps and barely taxing my gpu's so the game isn't anywhere near as demanding as Crysis 2. I'm guessing AMD is going to put out another driver real quick because I've been reading a lot about this flickering.

I must say that I've had a much better experience than that, although I've only played a couple of rounds. Maybe AMD hasn't nailed Crossfire for this game yet or it could be that the beta stage of the game is to blame. Either way, hopefully this public beta will help fix the problems soon.

BF3 is nice and smooth, but Youtube videos do not play in fullscreen and show a green screen in windowed (have to manually skip the video back/forward to correct).
