Installing vista 64-bit onto ULI M1575 Raid 0

Anyone know how to do this? ULI site does not appear to have vista drivers I tried putting the 2003 64-bit drivers on a cd but Vista did not like them.

The email addy on the ULI site bounces.

Mboard is Asus A8R32-MVP deluxe. Beta 2 BTW

i had a pretty terrible time getting drivers to work in the 64 bit version, however the 32bit version seems to take many XP drivers. you should give that a shot as it is no slower than the 64 bit one. although im not particular sure this will help in this particular case

Yes, that is normal guys...
Not Micrsofts fault.. .Microsoft cannot supply ALL the raid drivers... It IS ALOT to preload on a single dvd... ULI usually are the bad ones.. But this is how you need to fix it..

Goto
http://www.nvidia.com/page/uli_drivers.html

Download the first link... Extract it.. And you wil see a bunch of ULI's under SATA
...

What you should do ... is copy the driver to a usb or a disk or a cd (remember to place it as root)
And you will be fine upon installation. Works perfectly...

Sad Integrated220 driver package does not work for m1575

I have been trying to install Vista on an Asus A8R32-MVP Deluxe motherboard with Uli sata.

The driver that I downloaded from nvidia site does not work. It is a single executable that starts an install process. From this there is no way to simply extract the sata drivers that are needed on a floppy at boot up.

Has anyone else tried these drivers?

Has anyone found a different location to download the drivers?

Good day to all!

tency, i manually opened the excuteable with winrar and then fumbled my way through the file to the raid/sata drivers for x64 and/or vista x64.

you can try that...

you can extract the stata drivers if you use winrar (rarlab.com)
but be aware that vista build 5472 does not like the uli drivers
and yes the 1575 drivers are in the sata/5288 driver package in the extracted folder

If you get the ULI RAID going in Vista64 then you'll notice that there are no networking drivers... I say give it up and try XP-x64 instead, if you haven't already.

Latest Vista RTM and Retail packages include a fully working ULi M1575 driver and support both in x64 and 32bit without need of providing a driver, the driver is actually identical to that of what nvidia has on the uli site.... most likely to be never updated again.

Did that include booting from a RAID array or are you booting off a single drive?
