Can not install driver AC97

I have problem installing driver on Vista (not only driver some application too). I try to install AC97 Driver into Vista because my soundcard not detected, I download the driver from AC97 website (realtek) for Vista version. But every I install the driver the progress will stop and not continue, for other software also (just run half of progress then stop for long time). Can anyone know how to pass the protection to install the driver???

Hello,

For my AC97 sound Carte, I have not download driver.

I have use the "update driver" on the "device manager" with the "online search" and my vista has found a driver and it's OK.
