Vista Boot Menu won't go...

After trying out vista, I formated the drive with it (I have two drives, one with XP and the other with Vista) but the bloody bootmenu is still there and says that software or hardware changes might have made this version of windows inoperable.

My XP side was accessed by vista so maybe that's why? I dunno but I wanna get rid of that annoying boot menu! PLZ help!

Actually this thread is still of use.. You know when you boot the PC and you have "older windows" and "microsoft windows" as choices? I'd like to change those and apparently you have to access a bcedit.exe in the vista side...

Ummmmm how do you acess it? I can't double click on it and I got no clue why cmd prompt won't let me acess it (am I running it badly?)

Help again?
