External USB Question
Will Vista install to an external USB hard drive? Has anyone tried it?
Just wondering, I may install it there just to tool with it again |

you cant install an operating system to an external usb drive...

for short answer... i don't think you can't, not for a typical installation anyway.

if you have time and effort please do that. i really like to see you will made it.
however, i think it's also because the Vista is beta... something in its beta codes might prevent you from doing what you want to... |

Maybe not. This beta is surprisingly...how do I say.... unshackled? We'll see when I get to swap my drives in the enclosure and test 'er out
