Vista Installation Problems

Hey,

Maybe you guys can help me, I have been trying to install Vista RC1 on my computers second hard drive, each time I try to use that hard drive it tells me something along these lines: "please install approprate driver, cannot find Standard Dual channel PCI IDE controller. I located the PCIIDE file and pointed it to it, no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Greetings and welcome to Driverheaven!

Make sure you have installed the updated motherboard and chipset drivers for your system prior to attempting the installation of Vista RC1.

I've successfully installed it to a separate drive on my system and it's working quite well.
