Vista build 5728 has been released and even though it is meant to be a connect version (i think anyway) microsoft have it avaliable for download on their site.

So if you want to try 5728 here is the link

Saw the news on another forum that I frequent, and d/led it. Just wondering, I've got the 5600 build up and running now, is it worth it to install the 5728? I'm liking what I see with the 5600, so maybe I'll give the 5728 a try. One question, will the keys I got for the 5600 build work with the 5728 build?

hmm....this is very interesting. i'll have to give it a shot, but won't be able to do the d/l until i get home. the part that worries me most is the fact that MSFT will not be supporting this particular version as extensively as they are w/the RC1 version.

I've had one weird thing happen with this build. If I try and upgrade my XP Pro install with this build, it gets to the "Completing Installation" stage and fails at 64% every time.

RC1 5600 works just fine. Hmmmm......
