I was able to setup to capture some of OBLIVION while playing on VISTA and capturing the video on my second system using its AIW 9600 card.

Once I got ample video, I then attempted to use the new Movie Maker to edit and create a short demo video.

All of it was very nice to use and easy to figure out.

However, one thing didn't work so well. I placed some text that was to appear exactly at a particular location on a clip. I worked with this for some time making sure that the text appeared during playback on exactly the correct frames.

However, when I finally created the final version, the text was showing up completely at the wrong time....and not even near the location I wanted.

So, those using Vista, please check this out and see if you get the same result.


BTW, I've reported the issue to MS.
