Installation of

So, I found an offer, that if the details satisfy me, I will buy a version of XP and get a voucher for free upgrade to Vista when it is released. Sounds a bit too good to be true, but I will wait for their response anyway.

Back to my questions.

How can I (if I get it, I will also get a new larger HD) install just XP now, but make it so that when Vista arrives there is set up space for it so that I have both OSes installed without any problems? (mainly for older-current games)

Do you know if (don't know if it is yet but I prefer to ask this first) the OEM version of Vista has any limitations?

That's what I can think of now.

You can always make a separate partion and install Vista to that. All can be done within the windows install setup.

Remember, though, if they send you an update CD only, you will have to install XP on the second partition before you start the upgrade process. I got burned once upgrading to 98 but did no realize my mom got the upgrade CD and I had formatted my 95 partition already.
