Reformat then installing Vista...

When I pick up my copy Vista on Tuesday, I wish to install it after a fresh reformat.
Can anyone give me some details on how to do this, or possibly a tutorial?

I'm not sure if it would differ from reformatting with XP.

Any info is appreciated.

System Specs

Well to start off be sure to get a full install rather than an upgrade. As per this article here upgrading to vista with an upgrade disk will REQUIRE you to first install XP then upgrade it to VISTA.

Yeah, I'm definelty going to pick up the full install, I would rather have the full copy to install from whenever I choose reformat,
instead of falling back on my XP.

You'll be offered an option to do a clean install during the installation process, the same as during an XP installation.

Using the Full Install version, the process will be the same as it was for XP - I just did it last night

Right-click on desktop, choose view, choose classic icons.
