Razer Vista drivers?

Hey guys, I just picked up a Razer Copperhead to replace my dying logitech but I notice there are no Vista drivers for it. While I don't mind waiting for full driver support I still need it to work with vista. Do they work with default vista drivers? I only ask because I need a mouse asap and I don't want to open this if it doesn't work
Thanks

I would wonder if Vista will support that high of active DPI with the built in driver or not.

In XP, it would only support like the 400 dpi setting for logitech without the driver, I think. With the driver it would do the 800 dpi and 1600 dpi.

Hope you get it workin'.

It should work alright with default drivers, it works fine in XP without drivers installed.

There are some beta drivers for Vista there available, so at least full drivers are in the works.

edit: These drivers are probably not needed, see post by ViRuS2k below.

Yeah, the mouse will work...you just wont get the advanced config etc that the drivers give you. (I'm using a Razer mouse in Vista atm).

But does it get full resolution without the branded drivers?

Most likely, I never bothered installing the drivers in XP, and it runs at 2000 dpi/500 Hz, and the buttons on the side still work to change the dpi, and for back/forward webpage navigation.

Cool. Glad you get full resolution without the driver loaded.

Yeah, until I got the Logitech drivers loaded, my older Logitech gaming mouse was limited to 400 dpi. But once installed, it worked fine.

you guys are noobs lol

works perfectly on vista ultimate for me, the only thing is you have to install it with admin rights and make sure you install it in windows xp pro sp2 compatibility...

Have fun

*Note* Do not use that vista beta driver crap, use the full windows xp drivers x32 and your all set*
everything works the way it does on xp you get the razor icon in the task bar aswell as the advanced config *

Thanks for the heads up but I think I'm going to wait for official support. I installed the Vista beta driver and while it worked okay i could not start up the windows control panel anymore. Even removing them didn't help
