Com Surrogate Ending? What is it and why?

Have one issue with Vista. Something called COM Surrogate? Never heard of it at all in XP, and never had a problem like this at all. Usually happens when im looking through my movies folder.

Here's A Screen Shot of it... Any help would be nice.

That error is normally displayed when Vista is not able to open the thumbnail properly. Installing ffdshow-tryout took care of the problem for me.

This particular error is caused by an older Divx install. Update to version greater than 6.5 and it will disappear.

I was getting the rundll32 error which is similar, and had to do the same thing.
