does windows vista come with microsoft net 3.0 already installed??
hi guys i upgraded to windows vista ultimate 32bit got all the drivers updated but my wife is in tears now cuz the second life game wont run at all ,it crashes right in the start of the game when its detecting the hardware ,i suspect is something to do with microsoft net d,does vista comes with net 3.0 installed by deffault?? thanks guys i really need to get it working for her so i can play stalker in peace

I don't think Second Life is working on Vista just yet. Pretty weird imho as 10 year old games run just fine

from what i remember Visual Basic did install first time without bugging me for a .NET framework update so i'd say yeah prolly :/

I'm experiencing that alot of much much older games are working flawlessly under vista, with little to no extra work that XP would have required to get them working.

Just some shittyily coded games from EA seem to be causing issues, and we all know how EA doesn't give a shit about anything over 6 months old.
