MSN Live Messenger not working.

Hi,

installed Vista dual boot 2 days ago. So far so good seems to be very good. However I ran into a weird problem. I installed Messenger on my machine (even from a Link vista gave me) and installed the latest version.

I try to connect to but I always get an error message that it cant connect to the service. When I do the connection check in messenger I get green tickboxes everywhere except IE Offline and Wireless.... which seems OK to me. When I check in messenger the connection status it tells me is that "my computer is connected to the Internet via my router"... all good.

So what the heck is the problem? I checked the Vista FW but I see no probelms. Even disabled it and tried.

(and yes everything else is dandy and works)
