Resolution Problem With Vista Ultimate

RESOLUTION PROBLEM WITH VISTA ULTIMATE
I have installed Vista Ultimate as a part of my hard disc with XPSP2 as provided by you and suggested.
But after all i have installed it my partition of hard disc I am getting a problem with Display Resolutions settings as Minoter Desktop resolution is fixed in 640 by 480 pixels as the resolution slide bar is fixed on this resolutions of & I am not getting acceed it by moving higher or any how else.
May you or someone can help me to get high resolution of it that I can see and use it in better conditions.

your problem is the graphics that you have, it's no where near able to handle windows vista's requirements, actually it's barely able to handle most of the graphical features of windows XP.

Looking around the internet, you are not alone at all, everyone with the same onboard solution is having the same problem with no fix available (that i could see).

Your only options that i can see right now is that following:

A: BUY a graphics card that meets the minimum requirements of windows Vista (recommend no less then 128mb of dedicated memory), Preferably a Radeon 9500 or Geforce 6 series card OR better.

B: Don't use windows vista on that machine, as it's just not up to the task of running it. Stick with windows XP.
