This is the weirdest thing I have ever experienced....

okay I was on my computer. Playing songs on youtube, and downloading stuff. All of a sudden my computer froze with a jerk like the music stopping, and ERRRRRRR, BUM!

It's halted. Okay no biggie.

I hard restarted my computer, and all of a sudden i get the dreaded "BOOT SECTOR FAILURE. INSERT DISK WHEN READY."

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I restarted again, same error.
Restarted again, same error.

I was like come on baby!!!! I just kept reving the engine, and it wouldn't crank. So I checked the oil.

Tried again.

Then i get "BOOTMGR ERROR." please insert disk.

I was like okay....

Then I restarted again and get:

"CHECKSUM ERROR" . I was like okay.....................

Then I restarted again.

"WINDOWS VISTA ERROR RECOVERY."

--Start in safe mode,
command prompt

Normal boot.

I was like "okay..."

Restarted Normally and Now it works again.

What in the world just happend? The boot sector healed itself???????????????????

What is my computer the, Borg, did it adapt???

Seriously, I HAVE NEVER seen that before. EVER. Once the boot sector is gone, IT'S GONE. How the heck did that happen?

I am happy yet bewlidered.

It seems to me that the motor of your HDD is failing.

I'd backup my data real fast if I were you, just in case.
