Please help me to install vista in D915GAV

Hi everybody,
i tried to install vista into D915GAV. After copying files, when the second phase (expanding files) begins and reaches at 18%, an error message reports that vista installation failed, and the setup is then exited. i tried to install into a drive of size 18GB with NTFS format.
i searched the intel site for the support of vista for D915GAV, and there it is supported.
Anyone please help me for this to solve.
Also i hadnt found grahics driver for vista... for the remaining i got it from official site of Intel, so please tell from where can i download graphics driver for vista also.

I am waiting for the replies, so comment whatever, u know on this.

My system config.

2.8GHZ, HT
D915GAV
512MB RAM
80GB, SATA

Minimum hard drive size needed for basic is 20Gb, with at least 15GB free. So it's probably gagging on the 18GB.
Vista should have native graphics driver for that chipset.

System Specs

Hi there and welcome to DH!

As coldfrontt said the partition might be too small for vista so you would need to resize your partitions. Otherwise your system is good for Vista.
