Vista x64 - Secondary Processor Clock Interrupt BSOD (Not OC'ed)
I updated my mobo's BIOS to the latest version a couple hours ago. Before, I couldn't play Doom 3, I'd get sound loop system lockups. I just tried it now, and then got the same thing, but this time, followed by a BSOD that said "a clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval". I haven't OC'ed anything in my system. The only thing I've done was upped my RAM's voltage from the mobo's default of 1.86V to the voltage spec of the RAM, 1.9V.
Edit: I'm getting this BSOD randomly in Windows now, too, not just while gaming. Edit 2: I was getting both this crash (BSOD) and the sound loop lockup. One of my RAM sticks was defective, so I took it out, but I was still getting the BSOD's. I downgraded my BIOS. I'm testing to see if it worked. Last edited by Arklon; Jun 13, 2007 at 03:39 PM. |

Downgrading the BIOS worked. For a while. The BSOD's are back now.

Are you sure the ram is all good now? Can you boot into memtest and let it run for 10+ hours without errors?
