Cannot get folders to open each folder in its own window
if i go to tools - Folder Options - and tick open each folder in its own window then close and restart Vista is still opening each folder in the same window
i tried googling and found a reg hack to go the other way ( from multiple windows to sigle ) but not the other way around any ideas on a reg entry i need ?? thanks |

i have noticed this problem happens sometimes too, still trying to work out why, and how to fix it.

i have the solution - Looks like it's dependent on whether or not the Folder tree is displayed in the Navigation pane. With the Navigation pane removed from Layout, or with the Folder tree collapsed to the bottom so that Favorite Links fills the pane, it works as expected.
