Cheap gamepads and Vista?

I'm thinking about getting some simple digital USB gamepad for games like Virtua Tennis, but wonder if they tend to work with Vistas standard drivers. I can buy some essentially noname gamepads locally but then there is no real driver support for them. Just curious if the chance of success is good or bad.

Picked up a Saitek P380 locally and it was fully functional right away with just the standard HID Compliant Game Controller driver. I guess I was worrying for nothing.

If your looking for the best Pad you can buy for vista, and xp come to think of it lol you cant go far wrong with Microsofts Xbox 360 controller.

The rumble works aswell, tested in bioshock.

also it doesnt need drivers plug in and play.
