Good ones. Could take a week for these to hit Windows Update which makes them worth considering for a manual update.

I'll install them for sure '

[EDIT] Memory utilization went from 45% to 65%. I don't mind that since the system is a bit faster to respond.

I wonder if Micro$haft released vista too early? You would think they did it to reap millions of dollars from everyone all over the globe, knowing that it was far from right

Is the beta identical to the official?

So far i can see from the file versions listed on MS' site, the final has files with a newer version number, so i would say no.

Seems mine has went down... Have 41% used while running FireFox.

Before the update it was 51% with windows Idleing (no programs open)

The only issue I have had, and it's already known, is RivaTuner no longer will work - unsigned driver under x64.

I did some big file transfers between computers though, and I *feel* there is a substantial improvement, although I didn't actually measure the time.

didnt do anything for me. file transfer to my nat drive on my gigabit network was still at 8-10 mbs. transfer between sata drives was at 57mbs or lower. truly sux.
can do the same operations on my xp setup in 1/2 the time or better.

going to try & install again. this whole slowness with the file transfer thing is ridiculous. didnt realise my wifes comp was that bad(she didnt either thk god). & she does more file transfers than i do becuase of her work & her photography hobby.
the only reason i cuaght this is because my comps video card is being rmad to evga, so my comps down.
