Vista compatible Defrag software
Whats the best hdd defrag software available for windows vista?
Not necessary to be Freeware apps. I have been using Diskeeper 8.0 (sent to me by post by Hawgshead) which will not install. I want some opinions on what to install seeing as the windows vista defrag works differently to xp. |

I've been using O&O for a while but without really having had the need. Vistas built in defrag does its work quite well, one just might want to make sure it runs automatically more often by editing the Task Scheduler ScheduledDefrag event. In fact I'll go back to letting Vistas defrag do the work.

Yeah, 2007 Version of Diskeeper professional works with Vista 32 and 64. It is listed under supported OSes on their website.
I use DK Pro 2007 with XP Pro/Sp2 on my home rig, and I am happy with it. Automatic defrag is pretty cool..no need for scheduling. |
