IS there ANY way @ all???

to get vista x86 to read 4gb of ram?

Im stuck between a rock and a hard place here.

With Vista X64 installed the system runs good, and i can use all 4 GB of ram. But my new keyboard, with fingerprint reader and my Linksys Wireless PCI card wont work.

Now ive called both companies and they both said that they do NOT support 64bit verzions of windows? I dont see why not.

So for everything to work i need 32 bit but then i loose my ram? What to do?

Nope, it's a 32-bit hardware limitation.

Companies that don't support any kind of 64-bit OS simply lose my support in actually purchasing their products.

Those companies are going to get cut off in terms of microsoft certifieing thier products.. OR if the hardware is older generation, you'd have to get the newer gen to actually use the x64. Microsoft has pretty much made it so that for a company to have a sign driver, they must produce a driver and software for BOTH 32bit and 64bit vista oses... or they don't get any soup.

Haha.. well What about this one... the product that it doesnt support IS A MICROSOFT PRODUCT! lol. Its thier USB keyboard with fingerprint reader. Says Vista certified right on the dang box. Called them and they said they will NEVER make a x64 driver to return i to the store or downgrade to x86.
