After long day of Issue thinking for Vista
Yesterday i have upgraded my motherboard.So i had to format/re-install OS, i was fun of the blackXP version but yesterday i had really big issues with it!!I made something like 7 hours of installation
big day ![]() I thought to go in a version of vista, i never thought about it before *still not big fun of vista* I ll like some suggestions from your guys cus i have never tried vista i ll like to know what is better to install in my system , im really bored of problems and issues I have a version of Vista OEM x64!My system specs are in my avatar!!Thanks alot and cheers

Ciao D3AN, and welcome to DH, I would go with Vista x64 now, SP1 will be out in a couple of weeks, maybe less and I have been running Vista with no problems since it came out.

Vista x64 is the way to go.
just be sure you install all the patches... plenty of them are 64-bit-gaming related |

Thanks alot for the attention guys!I made this thread cus ppl still say that xp is the way to go!But as i saw my rig dont like them much!
I installed Vista ultimate x64 but i think i need to make some changes....i have a spare maxtor 140gb on ide so i thought its good size for vista!I dont like to mess with the OS hdd but also i think ide is kinda slow for vista isnt it? |

basically, if your rig sucks, stay with XP, but since in reality its actually good, go Vista with 4GB of RAM, you'll like what you see
