Windows Vista 32 or 64 bit for Pentium 4 640
Hi everyone,
I am planing on upgrading my computer to vista home premium and was wondering if I should install the 32 or 64 bit upgrade version here is my system: Motherboard: Intel 915pbl Processor: Pentium 4 640 Video: Sapphire 3870 Ram: 2X512gb & 2x1gb Sound: Onboard I know my processor as 64 bit capability but still wondering if going with a 64 bit version of vista. Also if a buy the 32 bit Vista Home Premium Upgrade Version would I be able to get the 64 bit version from Microsoft? Thanks in advance for your help. Biotech |

yes, if you buy the 32bit version, you can order a "free" 64bit dvd from microsoft, paying only the shipping cost (that's what I did)
if you have no other hardware or softwre that may be incompatible with vista x64, then go for it
