Bad_Pool_Caller BSOD
Getting this bluescreen when I'm playing games for a while, doesn't matter which game. Happens randomly during the game. Will get a BSOD error with a Bad_Pool_Caller error.
Specs are as below. Does anyone have any ideas? I tried to flash bios but it told me I couldn't run the software Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit MSI P35 Neo2 Intel Q6600 2.4ghz 4GBS Corsair XMS 2x 1950 Pro Xfire 2x74gb Raptor (RAID-0) 500gb Western Digital Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty

Here's a thought, in the thread you've linked to the guys have suggested that it is probably the Creative X-Fi drivers causing the issue. So, I have 2 suggestions:
1) Try using a different set of drivers, such as the YouP Pax drivers, or DanielKs ones (from experience I recommend trying these first). Specifically, you want to grab the 2 parts (Here1 and Here2) that make up the Vista install CD. 2) Your motherboard uses a Realtek HD audio chip onboard, which is actually a pretty decent audio chip. To rule out the Creative sound card you could try removing it, and use the onboard audio to see if you have the same issue. If you do try this be sure to download the latest drivers off of Realteks site as the newer ones perform better. The one you want (after accepting the agreement) is the 5th option, which is the exe version of the driver. |

Ok, I've changed the X-Fi drivers to the YouPax ones and it still gave the error, I used some alternate Vista drivers and the error still occurred.
I've taken the X-Fi out and used the Realtek Onboard audio. It was fine for a few days, I've just got back home and found it on the Bad_Pool_Caller error. I have no idea what it could possibly be. Any ideas? Thanks!
