My TV Out Display Is Black And White: Help!

Hi all:

I'm trying to connect my TV Out of my graphics card to a 50 inch Big Screen Plasma HDTV. I bought some componet cables, but when I make the connection to the Plasma HDTV, I'm only getting a Black and White display.

I'm uisng the 177.83 NVidia driver with the 08.08.01 PhysX Driver. This is the first time I have tried to use the Plasma Big Screen as a Display. I have selected , in the NVidia CP to show the same on both screens.

Please, my beloved DriverHeaven fellow members, help me out, here. I'm having a family reunion, officially starting Saturday August 23, 2008, and I'd like to show off PC gaming on this Big Screen.

I have a BFG Geforce 8800 GTS 640 MB OC graphic card, and I'm using the adapter that came with the card, which has a S-Video looking connector (but not quite an S-Video connector) that connects to the back of the card on one end, and a component 3 prong female connector on the other end. I connect the S-Video looking end of the connector to the back of the graphic card and use a RGB component cable to coonect the other end of this adapter to the Big Screen HDTV. I'm only getting a black and White display on the Big Screen! What am I doing wrong?!!

Please help me?

OK, I got the color working! What I had to do was in NVidia CP/Video and Televvision/Adjust Television Color Settings move the Saturraion setting to 50 percent. It was on zero percent.

Now, I'm having a problem getting all the desktop to display on the Big Screen.

Any help would be appreciated.

The driver I'm currently using (177.83) seems messed up, I once had the option in the CP that allowed me to resize my HDTV display, now, it's gone!

At least I have color and most of the primary desktop showing on the Big Screen. If any of you know a driver with a CP that works reliably, please let me know the driver build. Since this is my first time connecting my graphics card to the a Big Screen, I don't know what driver works best in the areas needed to get a full display on the Big Screen.

This will do for now, but please let me know a better driver or CP to use so I can get the full display that's on my primary 16:10 display on to my Big Screen 16:9 720p disaplay, if you can?

Cya all around.
