Where is Microsoft Going with Windows7 & DirectX 11?

Allison Klein, senior lead program manager for Direct3D technologies, gives a lengthy presentation at the 2008 Professional Developers Conference in a presentation titled: Windows 7: Unlocking the GPU with Direct3D.

Many of you will find this presentation interesting and revealing as to just what is "under the hood" with the new DirectX 11.

Get you some coffee....or tea...sit back and enjoy the show.....

Re: Where is Microsoft Going with Windows7 & DirectX 11?

I am not really expecting anything that is really an outstanding feature or anything because of how bad DX10 was...

DX9 I have to think will be the last good video spec released partly because the slow down with new PC games and nothing else is really coming out to see anything special push the limits of 10 or now 11...
