Windows vista boot problem

long time since i installed vista and want to re-install it
i have made sure the boot process 1st and 2nd from cd/dvd but it just says boot from cd/dvd if i press enter nothing happens any ideas?

I dont really understand what you are trying to say. Don't you want it to boot from CD, if you do, it will tell you in the boot up to press any key to boot from CD. Then install Vista onto the hard drive. Don't forget though, if you have The windows Vista CD and install it without SP1 on there, you need to have 2 GB of ram on there or less cause it could crash.
