Importing pictures from a USB device (some help please)
quick question (I hope)
i had set my camera to download pictures through a USB lead to the computer and then to delete the pictures from the camera after the photos had been copied from the camera and that works just fine problem is i also have a few USB sticks that i use to store documents and pictures on and whenever i plug in a USB stick to copy some new documents to it the Camera wizard automatically downloads and then deletes any photos it finds on the flash drive so basically does anyone know where i look on the PC for th option to stop the automatic download and deletion Thanks |

Re: Importing pictures from a USB device (some help please)
You must have selected save as pictures as "always open this way" at some point. Go to Control Panel/Autoplay and set the devices the way you wish. Or you can simply click the "reset all devices" button if you are not sure and you will be prompted every time like you were when the OS was first installed
