warning for new net.framework

just a headsup. i did the win update of this & it hosed my razer da installation & my ideazon fang install. dont have a clue, but i am sure that reinstall of drivers will fix. if it doesnt, ill update.

bty this was vista ult 64

I have .net 3.5 sp1 and nothing wrong If this what you need.

nah but thx. it was just a warning in case someone else got a nasty surprise like i did with the update.
uninstall the reinstall of drivers fixed the problem. whatever it was.

hopefully you dont mind Mike but i moved this from off topic into the vista forum, I know its not ideal as the concern might be outside the concerns of a specific OS but as you are using vista I put it in here as I think its more viable for software on the platform.

On another note I got the update message today on Vista 64 bit and haven't had an issue, might have been something else that just happened at the same time. Glad you sorted it.

Odd Mike it installed on both my machines at home on Vista X64 with no issues. I also got the prompt on XP SP3 on the machine at work again no issues.

Thanks for the heads up though man ya never know and glad ya got it sorted

i don't install any .net updates for vista.. unless it's part of vista's updates

The updates I installed were Vista updates and XP updates respectably ... I was prompted in all 3 cases.

i have .net 3.5 sp1 installed and my machine is working just fine....but i have vista 32bit though. so, not sure how that works out for you.

i have them all installed, working fine vista x64. some programs require it and even install it without me knowing.

i usually run any windows update that comes up, minus the extra "windows live" crap and "office live" as well as "driver suggestions" ... like I want drivers from microsoft and not from the ATI or nVIDIA website directly...
