help to copy the Dark Knight and Wall-e DVDs on Vista
I am trying to make two backup copies of the Dark Knight and Wall-E DVDs, but they end with an error saying that the DVD might be protected.
I am using Windows Vista 32 bit. Any help would be appreciated! |

Generally need specialized software in order to burn backups of movie files.

DVD Shrink is my software of choice. Really, really simple. And freeware, of course.

DVD Shrink is great, but hasn't been updating is ages. AnyDVD is good for bypassing the copy protection, and cloneDVD works for editing and burning.

Best DVD copy program I know of is DVDFab5. It removes the copy protection automatically (no need for AnyDVD) and it has tons of options for copying the dvd's. As a bonus, it also handles scratched dvd's really well which all the other programs could not do.

Re: help to copy the Dark Knight and Wall-e DVDs on Vista
you guys got a good guide on ripping dvd's into standard 700/1400mb xvid .avi files like the pro's do it?
I have over 300 DVD's at home (all purchased in the past 10+ years) and I would rather back then up myself then waste my bandwith on piratebay rips that don't look very good. I have more than enough room for 300 movies... i just don't feel like going through 100 applications... |
