A Device issue after a reformat..

After a reformat and reinstall of windows vista. i now have a device in my device maniger with a yellow ! mark..Which i have never seen before...

Anyone know what a Terredo Tunneling Psuedo-Interface is ?

Reinstalling the driver through windows does not fix the issue..neither does searching online..

I had a brief look round and apparently this is the solution:

Right click the Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface > Update Driver Software... > Browse my computer for driver software > Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer

It's an IPv6 tunnelling method. You could disable it unless you're only connected computer to computer (without a router/switch).

Thanks for that... i were just not sure what were the cause but removing the driver seems to have worked..

But i will see if this reapears when i next boot up.

pseudo interface? that's a funny name. Why would you call something a fake interface?
