Getting Window Transparency?
Hey all,
Just got my copy of the beta... and I can't figure out how to get the window transparency going. Any help? thanks! |

your card must support DX9 ........does it?

alright dude ........i went to dig that on WVS for you .....
if your card dont support DX9 you can still get the 'glass effect' ....you'll need to bypass the OS check.... http://www.winvistasecrets.com/forum...pic,763.0.html |

Hm, i never got a topic reply message... sorry for not replying sooner. Yes, I've been running DX9 on it for a while. But thanks for looking this up for me Angel, it works now! yay!

just so you know woodman they weren't asking if you had directx9 installed on the system. they were asking if you had a directx9 card.
the gf4 are directx8.1 bards not directx9 cards so by default you will have issues running glass in hardware mode. right now its running off of your cpu rather than off the video card. |
