Vista Uninstall, stops xp booting

i installed vista beta 1, after discovering its potential but being constantly annoyed by its lack of support i decided to uninstall. i installed vista on a new partition eg. C:/ = XP 100gb Z:/ = Vista 20gb, after uninstalling vista, xp booted fine, i then decided to format the Z:/ partition, after this xp wudnt boot i then installed suse linux on z:/ so i could recover my important files and find a solution online, iv tryd to repare the boot.ini file on the windows partition but nothing happened. Plzz help, i dont have a boot floppy, but i do have the xp CD. wen i try to boot into windows (through the suse boot loader i get the following error - chain loader (hd0,1)+1

any help wud be very much aprciated

Backup your important files before you tring the latest virus from M$ is a good advice, however I bet it is a bit late for you...

So, if you have the files already, then go to DOS version of PartionMagic 8 and format the damn C and do a fresh install. I prefer W2k over XP bloated crap, tough

But suit for yourself

not that simple trodas, now theres no MBR to boot from, or, theres a Vista MBR with NO VISTA TO BOOT FROM! therefor, get a hold of a XP Boot Disk, or XP Installation Disk, go into a DOS MODE then type "fdisk /mbr" 3 times, (your supposed to apparently) then a fresh XP install.

But I what I want to know is, HOW DID YOU "UNINSTALL" VISTA!? and WHY!?
