BCDEDIT command, how to use it?
Hi!
(sorry for my english, but i'm from Poland) My question is: How to use BCDEDIT.EXE command? 1.How to change default system? 2.How to change name "Legacy pre-Longhorn..." to some "windows XP" 3.How to change timeout in boot manager? I use a Win Vista Beta 2. He not use a standard XP boot.ini file. But i hear, if use this bcdedit command i change the startup information like default system or else. Thanx for any help, Artur |

Try logging in as Administrator.
After doing that I was able to run BCDEdit... The rest of it you'll have to play with BCDEdit /? I'm not really that familiar with the utility. |
