vista beta 1 & 2 install problem

i have tried to install vista beta 1 (5112) and beta 2 (5270) but it runs verrrrrrrrry slow to the point that it doesnt work. i dont see why because i have a good enough pc. it runs fine in a virtual machine but wont install directlly from the dvd drive. i really need some help.

my specs if it matters

ram 1 gig
hdd space 160 gig
processor intel 3.0 ghz pentium 4
video card ati radeon mobility 9000

5270 isnt beta 2.

the current CTP 5308 is beta 2
