Heeeelp Meee Please!!!!

Ok well i just got windows vista build 5270 and i got the iso on a dvd and the install was working great...until... My comp crashed in the middle of the installation. I rebooted, and since windows was corrupt now, I booted the install directly from the dvd. From now on, halfway through the automated install part, the screen goes all buggy w/ colors flashing everywhere and everything freezes up. I've tried 5 times now and even formatted my whole C drive!! (good thing i remembered to make a backup) but nothing has worked so far. I'm sorta stuck in between the 2 OS right now but I can't use either so basically it's a nonfunctioning computer. The ISO was written correctly, but how come it wont install? Does anyone have any ideas? PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE (btw the vista iso was legit and NOT a fake so no BS there).

when you burnt the .iso to dvd maybe it was a bad dvd or just got messed up somehow
