thats a loaded one..... if your computer is running fine and you have no problems and arent that interested in messing around with a 60+ meg download. I would wait.

but if you are like alot of us and like to play with new things.......

Does this version have any time bombs at all? Like when you go to run....type in winver....then click on the license agreement, does it say anything about 180 day license or anything screwy like that?

No time bombs it is just a bunch of the hofixes with a small proggy to install them unattended to simplify things.

I just download it, and notice that it's just all the updates in 1 folder, with a .bat file, which when opened, just install all the updates, if you can so..you can edit it to where directx 9 is in there, if anyone can do so, make it, and upload it

Hmm not a bad package to have . Would make reinstalling a bit easier having all the patches handy rather than hitting windows update several times

So, for all practical purposes, this file is just all of the updates since SP1, right?
