??? Anyone boot from a SATA hard drive?

If you have a SATA drive with Windows booting from it, can you please post the contents of your boot.ini file here? Thanks!
I'm curious to how SATA drives are referenced for the booting process.

PangingJr is just really nicePangingJr is just really nicePangingJr is just really nicePangingJr is just really nice

the data entry in boot.ini for S-ATA is no different than P-ATA (IDE or ATA).

"multi" is for the system uses IDE, enhanced IDE (EIDE), or Enhanced Small Device Interface (ESDI) drives and a SCSI adapter that does not have a built-in BIOS.

replace "multi" with "scsi" for system that uses a SCSI adapter that has a built-in BIOS.
