computer rebooting by it self

Last Friday I was using my Asus A7s333 MM with 512 dr p2700 ram, amd 2100+
It started rebooting.

I worked on it and then took it to a shop.

They replaced the cpu cooling fan, case fan, and mb.
All my parts checked out ok.

it still is rebooting or crashing by its self.

I have installled 98, 98se, me, and xp pro. It does it with all of them.
at least in xp it simply reboots and says " you're system has recovred from a serious error." It does it when using the internet, programs, and by itself.

I am tired of making the trip to the shop. It is a long ride.
Any ideas.
Most think it is the mb or ram.

Did the shop change the power supply? If you are playing games or doing something excessive with the computer and it reboots that is MOSY LIKELY from a power supply that doesn't have enough power.

make sure the ram is seated properly and you have no faulty sticks this is the most common cause of rebooting followed by software or drivers

If you disable XP's auto-restart feature under the startup and recovery options in My computer properties, you might be able to see a blue screen that could point to the problem? I'd go with the memory tho, memory is always crapping out on me, and has the same symptoms, Try using jus' the one module each time, also as stated check the power rating of your PSU.

I bet it's a bad memory chip ...how many sticks are you using? if 2 sticks then i'll almost bet my left nu* its one of the 2 memory sticks....
