Donator
i had the same problem i downloaded optomizer xp and ran it and everthing speeded up again someone posted that it was caused by ms update Q327696 and if you removed this it would fix the problem, when i went to do this it came up with awarning and listed about 20 programs that would not operate properly if i went ahead with uninstallion so i did not try it

Another question is when's the last time you did a fresh install of your OS??? Your computer will always seem very fast and responsive once you do a fresh install but as you continue to install and uninstall programs your computer will tend to get slower. A couple quick fixes may be to run a disk defragment or a scandisk. I'd say give those a try before resorting to a fresh install.

I agree
You don't have to do a fresh install.
Sometimes a second profile will allow you to find the weaknesses of your maintenence and allow correction.
Can't remember the Thread, but Louie had a great procedure for second FRESH PROFILE.

Works great for testing BETA DRIVERS
