What is gapi32.dll for?

I had a virus/spyware program delete this file, and have had Norton continuously asking me to run WinDoctor to correct the problem because it was missing.
I have downloaded and replaced it, but what is it for and why would it have been picked out as a bad file?
Thanks in advance,
Scotty

GAPI32.DLL
Is your Microsoft Mail Configuration Library.

If you DL from P2P or other sites which I will not utter on DH
It may have been corrupted. Sometimes reinstall can't correct this since it is logged in your registry

check your PF/CF/System/ ....../
and run your NAV there

Big Grin

OK, Thank you.
I saw something about that but also something about Wizards so I wasn't sure.
I couldn't tell for sure because on this system, Incredimail is the e-mail client.

NP, make sure you check carefully.
I hate to give bad advise

Incredimail sounds a bit Fishy to me.
Maybe I'm just not familiar with the program.

Does seem ODD your Mail Library was altered.

Best of luck, PM or POST Me if you have any questions.

Cheers Mate
