After spending a few hours in good old mIRC I finally got what I was looking for. I'll just post the names of the programs:
Longhorn Alpha Build 4008 Leaked Windows XP SP2 Beta Integrated EDIT CRAIG5320: Edited slightly it's still the means of helping someone track a file down. ![]() EDIT -={420}=-: You're right, just typing these filenames into any P2P application will return many results! I had no idea. I did a little editing of me own. Last edited by -={420}=-; Mar 6, 2003 at 09:19 PM. |

So far I hear nothing but bad news about this release. Obviously this is because it isn't scheduled to be released for a few years and it's still in the alpha stage. This sort of thing makes me wish I had a test computer to run this on. Currently I'm trying to find out how to install this on my second hard drive.

Well, I finally installed Longhorn and I played with it for only about 10 minutes when I decided to delete that piece of crap. But, I gotta say, setup was a piece of cake and so was deleting it off my hard drive.

It's just not functional enough yet. I already decided that I hate the sidebar so I disabled that. Then, there's all these new services running that I know nothing about but it seems like they're just spyware for microsoft. Most of my hardware didn't work because of the lack of drivers. I just got bored of it. You can't really do much yet. It serves me no purpose really except taking up space so that's why I got rid of it. But, I do like the new theme and the shadows in the title bars. There's basically a whole bunch of new options everywhere and more customizations that you can do. I didn't really notice it being slow as most users said. It ran just as fast as Windows XP and had the same "feel". I still suggest you try it for yourself as it is kinda cool to see what Microsoft has in store for us but as an operating system, you just can't use it as one right now. It's just kinda like a toy to play with.
